A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA) AUTHORIZING THE PER-
TINENT OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF DANIA TO EX-
ECUTE A SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AGREEMENT, TO
PROVIDE FOR THE PURCHASE AND PAYMENT OF SUR-
PLUS EQUIPMENT OF THE CITY OF DANIA.
i WHEREAS, the City Commission deems it in the public
interest to provide by Contract for the exclusive right of
the collection and disposal of solid waste within the City

of Dania by Contract ,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION

OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section l : Thai; the City Manager of the City of

Dania be and he is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of
the City the Agreement, described as Schedule 82 pertaining to
Solid Waste Collection Services within the City, as attached
j hereto.
� Section 2 : That the City Manager of the City be and
he is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement with the West
y Shore Sanitation Service, a Florida corporation, together with
the amendment as set forth in Section 3 below.
Section 3 . That the City Manager of the City be and
i he is hereby authorized to execute the amendment to the above-
mentioned Agreement to provide that certain surplus equipment
j shall be purchased by the above-mentioned Contractor for the
City of Dania by the Contractor at the purchase price of FORTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($40,000.00) , of which said forty thousand dollars ,
twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) shall be cash and the balance
of twenty thousand dollars shall be paid to the City of Dania in
six (6) equal payments, which payments shall include principal

and interest at the rate of ten (10) percent on the unpaid balance, j
by six equal payments commencing April 1, 1975 and subsequent pay-
i

ments on the first day of May, June, July, August, and September,
1975,

Section 4 : That this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon its passage and adoption,
