RESOLUTION NO . 148
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OFFICIALS
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FLORIDA EAST COAST
RAILROAD COMPANY AND THE CITY OF DANIA PRO-
VIDING FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, FINANCING AND
MAINTENANCE OF THE INSTALLATION OF GATES ,
LIGHTS AND BELLS AT THE RAILROAD GRADE CROSS-
ING AT NORTHWEST FIRST STREET, WEST BEACH
BOULEVARD AND SOUTHWEST SECOND STREET IN THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA :
Section 1. That the pertinent Officials of the City of
Dania, Florida, are authorized to execute the attached agreement
between the Florida East Coast Railroad Company and the City of
Dania, providing for the construction, financing and maintenance
of the installation of gates , lights and bells at the railroad
grade crossing at Northwest First Street , West Beach Boulevard
and Southwest Second Street in the City of Dania, Florida.
Section 2 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions ,
ordinances or parts of ordinances , in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict .
Section 3 . This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of June, 1976 .
