HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1990-068 f- -1 RESOLUTION NO. 68-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE REALIGNMENT OF NORTHEAST SEVENTH AVENUE; AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation on behalf of the State of Florida , has requested that the City of Dania, Florida, convey to said State of Florida Department of Transportation that certain parcel of land designated as Parcel No. 137, Section 86095-2408 as described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B" which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and which is contiguous to the west right-of-way line of Northeast Seventh Avenue, Dania , Florida; and WHEREAS, as consideration for said conveyance, the Florida Department of Transportation will convey a parcel of land of approximately the same size , to the City of Dania, which parcel of land is described in Exhibit "D" and Exhibit "E" which are attached hereto and made a part hereof and which is contiguous to the east right-of-way line of Northeast Seventh Avenue, Dania, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY 0 DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That the requested conveyance of the real property as set forth hereinabove , be and the same is hereby approved and the appropriate city officials are authorized to Resolution No. 68-90 execute and deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation, the grantee named therein, that certain city deed, a photocopy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "C" , and to execute and deliver to said department any other documents needed in connection with this conveyance. Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED and ADOPTED on this 24th day of July — 1990.
