A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
DECLARING CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY AS BEING
OBSOLETE AND SURPLUS AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES AND FURTHER DECLARING THE
INTENT OF THE CITY OF DANIA TO SELL SAME; AND
PROVIDING THAT ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED
TO THE EXTENT Of SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS , the city manager has determined that the continued
use of the personal property described as follows :
One 1974 Ford Van VIN# E34GHS90435 PCN# 28859
One 1979 Ford Van VIN# S2111HEF2828 PCN# 19890
!1 is uneconomical and inefficient and serves no useful function; and
WHEREAS , the city manager has recommended that the city
commission declare said property to be surplus and that it be
offered for sale to the highest bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That with respect to the personal property
described as follows:
One 1974 Ford Van VIN# E34GHS90435 PCN# 28859
One 1979 Ford Van VIN# S21HHEF2828 PCN# 19890
the City of Dania makes the following declarations :
( a ) That said property serves no useful function and is no
longer needed for public purposes.
(b) That the City Commission of the City of Dania does
hereby declare such personal property to be surplus and further

directs that the same be sold to the highest bidder by sealed bids
submitted as set forth in the published notice of sale.
Section 2 . That the proceeds derived from the sale of said
property shall be deposited in the General Fund.
Section 3 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict .
Section 4 . That this resolution shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
