HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-1990-062 RESOLUTION NO. 62-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, IN SUPPORT OF CITY OF HOLLYWOOD ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 3300 GRIFFIN ROAD, FROM THE BROWARD COUNTY LAND USE DESIGNATION OF "LOW MEDIUM, RESIDENTIAL (FIVE TO TEN DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE) " TO THE CITY OF HOLLYWOOD LAND USE DESIGNATION OF GENERAL BUSINESS"; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, does hereby endorse and support the adoption of the proposed ordinance of the City of Hollywood, Florida, which changes the land use designation for property generally located at 3300 Griffin Road, as follows : "That the Broward County land use designation of "Low Medium Residential ( five to ten dwelling units per acre) " is hereby amended to the City of Hollywood land use designation of "General Business" on property generally located at 3300 Griffin Road, more specifically described in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. " Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. AND LESS the following described parcel for Road Right-Of-Nays A parcel of land in Section 31 , Township 50 South, Range 42 East, also being a portion of Lot 30 Block 3 of "DONNA SUBDIVISION" as recorded in Plat Book 55, Page 24 of the Public Records of Broward County, Florida, being more particularly described as follows : Commence at the Northeast corner of the Northeast J/4 of said Section 31 ; Thence on an assumed bearing of North 87 31130" West along the North line of said section 31 . a distance of 1688.00 feet; Thence South 02028130" West a distance of 65.00 feet to 'a Point on a line 85.00 feet South of and parallel with the said North line, said line also being the South Right-Of-Way line of Griffin Road, to the Point Of Beginning; Thence continue South 02 28130" West a distance of 12.00 feet to a Point on a line 67 .00 feet South of and parallel with the said North line; Thence North 87031'30" West along Laid parallel line a distance of 171 .45 feet; Thence North 80 40157" West a distance of 100.72 feet to a point on a line being 55.00 feet South of and parallel N with the said North Line, said line also being the South Right- Of-Way line of Griffin Road; Thence South 87 31130" East along said parallel line a distance of 271.45 feet to the Point of Beginning.
