ORDINANCE NO- 78
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA AUTH-
ORIZING THE CLERK OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT 'lo CHARGE
A FEE OF $10.00 WHEN AN AFFIANT WITHDRAWS THE AFFI-
DAVIT CHARGING A PERSON WITH A CRIME, AND REPEAL-
ING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH,
WHEREAS, the City of Dania, Florida wishes to maintain
the Municipal Court open to all persons without charge who wish
, to file affidavits alleging violation of the law, but do not wish
to encourage frivolous charges being brought at the expense of the

' City.

I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
i
I THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: I

Section 1: That the Clerk of the Municipal Court shall
! charge a fee of $10.00 of any affiant who requests the withdrawal
!it
from processing of the affidavit charging a person with a viola-
! tion of law being enforced by the City of Dania.
Section 2 : That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith
l', be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.,'
I' Section 3 : That this ordinance shall be in full force i
and take take effect immediately upon its' passage and adoption.
