ORDINANCE NO. 59
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDIN-
ANCES , SECTION 28-7, SPEED OF VEHICLES-IN CITY,
BY ADDING SUBSECTION (B) (3) REGULATING THE SPEED
OF MOTOR VEHICLES IN ALLEYS AND PARKING LOTS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance entitled "Section 28-7.
Speed of Vehicles - In City" is amended by adding Subsection
(b) (3), which section shall read as follows :
"(3) No person shall drive a motor vehicle
upon any alley or within any public or pri-
vate parking lot in the City in excess of
fifteen (15) miles per hour. For purposes
of this section an alley shall mean a street
or way within a city block which is set aside
for public use or upon any street or other
public way with a width of twenty (20) feet
or less."
Section 2 . That all ordinances or resolutions in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict .

Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its ' passage and adoption on second
and final readings.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on First Reading this 24 day of
February , 1975.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on Second and Final Reading this 7
day of April , 1975.
