AN ORDINANCE EXEMPTING CHURCHES,
HOUSES OF PUBLIC WORSHIP AND LOTS
ON WHICH THEY ARE SITUATED, TO-
GETHER WITH ALL PARSONAGES, REC-
TORIES AND RESIDENCES OF MINISTERS
AND CLERGYMEN, FROM THE PAYMENT OF
ANY TYPE OF UTILITY TAX; AND PRO-
VIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH
CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE
AND EFFECT AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND
ADOPTION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:

Section 1. That all churches, houses of public wor-
ship and lots on which they are situated, together with all
parsonages, rectories and residences of ministers and clergy-
men, shall be exempt from any type of utility tax assessed or
imposed by City of Dania.

Section 2 . That such exemption shall apply only to i
iI lands parcels or lots on which churches or houses of public
! worship are actually constructed and to lands parcels or �
lots containing the place of residence of the minister or
i
clergyman of each of said churches and with the primary use
of all of such lands, parcels or lots to be religious in j(
nature. I
Section 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances {
i
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such "i
conflict.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in force

and take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
