AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE 197V EDITION OF
THE SOUTH FLORIDA BUILDING CODE AS THE OFFI-
CIAL BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE
j IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS OF ITS PASSAGE
AND ADOPTION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:

Section 1. That the certain building code promulgated
i
jinitially by Board of County Commissioners, Dade County, Florida
y and commonly known as "The South Florida Building Code" , is
hereby adopted, by reference, as the official building code of
f
City of Dania, Florida. Specifically, the 1970 edition of said
South Florida Building Code is hereby adopted as the official
building code of the City of Dania, Florida.

Section 2 . A true and exact copy of the 1970 edition of

The South Florida Building Code shall be filed with the City
" Clerk-Auditor, City of Dania, Florida, as of the date of the
i
adoption of this ordinance and said copy that is so filed shall

be deemed to be the official copy of The South Florida Building
t
Code, 1974 edition, which is hereby adopted by the City Commission
j
of the City of Dania, Florida and said copy that is filed with
the City Clerk-Auditor shall be deemed to be an exhibit to the
Iattached ordinance.

Section 3 . As official changes are promulgated by the
i
Board of County Commissioners, Dade County, Florida, to said

The South Florida Building Code, such changes shall automatically
be incorporated into the building code of the City of Dania,
Florida.
