A PENAL ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL
AND AN OFFENSE IN THE CITY OF DANIA
I TO MEET AT, GO UPON, TRESPASS UPON,
CONGREGATE AT OR ASSEMBLE AT PUBLIC
PARKS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES,
OWNED OR OPERATED BY CITY OF DANIA,
DURING CERTAIN PERIODS OF TIME UN-
LESS SUCH ACTS ARE DONE AS A SPECTA-
TOR OR PARTICIPANT IN A RECREATIONAL
ACTIVITY BEING CONDUCTED UNDER CERTAIN
TERMS; AND MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR A
PERSON, OR PERSONS, TO REMAIN UPON THE
GROUNDS OR AREAS OF A PUBLIC PARK OR
RECREATIONAL FACILITY AFTER BEING COM-
MANDED TO LEAVE THE GROUNDS OR AREAS
OF THE PUBLIC PARK OR RECREATIONAL
FACILITY, AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL
I FORCE AND EFFECT AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND s
ADOPTION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:

jSection 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to
I
meet at, go upon, trespass upon, congregate at or assemble at
any public park owned or operated by the City of Dania or at
i
f any recreational facility owned or operated by City of Dania
at any time of any day during the period beginning at 9:00 p.m.
of any night and ending at 8:00 a.m. of the following morning
unless such person is a spectator at, or participant in, a
recreational activity being conducted in the public park or
at the recreational area under the authority of a written
I permit issued by the City Manager, City of Dania, Florida.
Section 2 . Without regard to whether a person may

have initially gone upon the area of any public park owned or
operated by the City of Dania or at any recreational facility
I
owned or operated by City of Dania in order to be a spectator
at, or participant in, a recreational activity being conducted
i
in the park or at the recreational area under the authority of
I
a written permit issued by the City Manager, City of Dania, fI
f
Florida, and without regard as to the particular hour of the
day, it shall be unlawful for any person, or persons, to remain
I
upon the grounds or areas of any public park owned or operated
by the City of Dania or at any recreational facility owned or
I
operated by City of Dania after such person, or persons, have
i
been commanded by the Mayor, or any city commissioner, or any
Police officer or the City Manager of City of Dania to leave �
the grounds or areas of the public park or recreational facility.
Section That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 4_ That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
