AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ITEM 146. AS
SAME APPEARS IN ORDINANCE N0 . 549, it
ADOPTED ON THIRD AND FINAL READING
ON SEPTEMBER 8, 1969, CONCERNING
THE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEE TO BE
PAID FOR MOTION PICTURE THEATRES;
AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT
OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING THAT
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE
AND EFFECT AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND
ADOPTION ON THIRD AND FINAL READING. i

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF f
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Item 146 . which appears on the
schedule attached to ordinance no. 549 of the City of Dania,
Florida, which said ordinance no. 549 was adopted on third
and final reading on September 8, 1969, be and the same is
hereby amended so that Item 146 . , after amendment, appears
as follows :

Item 146 . MOTION PICTURE THEATRES, each $1, 000.00
Lunch stands or refreshment
stands operating in connection
with motion picture theatres 35 .00
Section 2 . That without limitation on the foregoing,
the City Commission does hereby state its purpose and intent to
charge, assess and levy an occupational license fee of $1,000.00
per year against each and every motion picture theatre, other

than drive-in theatres, operated within the limits of City of
Dania, Florida.

Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordi-
nances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force

and effect as of its passage and adoption on third and final
