ORDINANCE NO. 553
AN ORDINANCE AMENDED CHAPTER 28, CODE OF ORDINANCES,
I CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, BY ADDING A SECTION TO BE
j KNOWN AS SECTION 28-103 AND BY ADDING A SECTION TO
BE KNOWN AS SECTION 28-104, WITH THE SAID SECTIONS
j PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW ZONING CLASSI-
FICATION TO BE KNOWN AS "B-6, PETROLEUM TANK FARMS,
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT" AND PROVIDING FOR THE USES
j PERMITTED IN SAID CLASSIFICATION; AND PROVIDING j
THAT ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE RE-
PEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVID-
ING THAT THE ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AS
OF ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION ON THIRD AND FINAL

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,

i Section 1 . That Chapter 28, Code of Ordinances, City of
Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a
i
section to be known as Section 28-103, which shall read as follows :
"Section 28-103 . CREATION OF B-6 ZONING
CLASSIFICATION, TO BE KNOWN
j AS PETROLEUM TANK FARMS,
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT.
There is hereby created a
separate and independent zoning classification to
be known as "B-6 zoning classification" and which
shall be referred to generally as "B-6, Petroleum
Tank Farms, Industrial District" classification. "

Section 2 . That Chapter 28, Code of Ordinances, City of
1^ Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a
section to be known as Section 28-104, which shall read as follows :
"Section 28-104. USES PERMITTED IN B-6, PETROLEUM
TANK FARMS, INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT r
CLASSIFICATION

The following uses shall be permitted '

in B-6, Petroleum Tank Farms, Industrial District

j zoning classification:
1 1 . Any use which is expressly permitted in
M-lA Restrict Industrial classification.
2 . Any storage of the type usually conducted
at what is known as a "petroleum tank
farm" including, but not limited to, the
storage in bulk of petroleum and petroleum
i
products, including oils, gasolines, fuels
and greases . "

Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4. That this ordinance shall become effective as of
its passage and adoption on third and final reading.
