AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 24-159,
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA, REGARDING THE SPEED OF RAIL-
ROAD TRAINS IN THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE RE-
PEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
a AND PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND
ADOPTION ON THIRD READING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF

DANIA, FLORIDA: f

Section 1. - That Section 24-159, Code of Ordinances,
City of Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended so as
to read, after the effect of the amendment, as follows :
"Sec. 24-159. Speed in city.
Any engineer, fireman, conductor, or
i other person in charge or control of a
railroad train as herein defined, who
shall run, or permit to run such railroad
' trains at a greater speed than the rate
of thirty-five miles per hour within the j
city limits shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be
punished as provided in section 1-6 of
this Code. "

Section 2 . - That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict. `

Section 3 . - That this ordinance shall be in force
and take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.
