AN ORDINANCE RE-ZONING LANDS WITHIN THE
LIMITS OF CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, WHICH
LIE NORTH OF DANIA CUT-OFF CANAL AND EAST
OF U. S . HIGHWAY N0 . 1 (FEDERAL HIGHWAY) ,
J EXCLUDING LANDS OWNED BY CITIES SERVICE
STATIONS CORP , ; AND REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDI-
NANCE SHALL BE IN FORCE AND TAKE EFFECT
IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
f DANIA, .FLORIDA:
Section 1. - That for the purposes of this ordinance,
the "Cities Service" lands are described generally as those lands

which are owned by Cities Service Stations Corp. , consisting of
approximately 25 acres and located south of Shull Road and east of

U. S . Highway No. 1 (Federal Highway)g y) with an exact description of

said Cities Service lands being as follows :

E-1/2 of SE-1/4 of SW-1/4 0£ SW-1/4, less
North 25 feet for County Road, Section 23,
Township 50 South, Range 42 East, Broward
County, Florida;
W-1/2 of SW-1/4 of SE-1/4 of SW-1/4, less

North 25 feet for County Road, Section 23,
Township 50 South, Range 42 East, Broward
County, Florida;
W-1/2 of E-3/4 of S-1/2 of SE-1/4 of SW-1/4,
less North 25 feet for County Road, Section
23, Township 50 South, Range 42 East, Broward

W-1/2 of E-1/2 of E-3/4 of S-1/2 of SE-1/4 of

Section 2 . - That all lands within the corporate limits

of City of Dania, Florida, excluding the Cities Service lands which

are described in Section 1. , which lie within that certain area
described as follows, to wit,

The area which has as its southern boundary
the northern right-of-way line of Dania Cut-
Off Canal, which has as its western boundary
the eastern right-of-way line of U. S . Highway
No. 1 (Federal Highway) , which has as its
northern boundary the northern city limits
line of City of Dania, and which has as its
eastern boundary a line that is 300 feet east
of, and parallel to, the eastern right-of-way
line of U. S . Highway No. 1 (Federal Highway) ,

"* be and the same is hereby re-zoned from existing zoning classifi-
cations to B-2 'coning classification, under the zoning ordinances
of City of Dania, Florida.
Section 3 . - That all of the area within City of Dania,

Florida, excluding the Cities Service lands described in Section 1.
herein, which lies north of Dania Cut-Off Canal and east of the
eastern right-of-way line of U. S . Highway No. 1 (Federal Highway) ,
except that area which is described in Section 2 hereof, be and the

same is hereby re-zoned from existing zoning classifications to M-lA
i

1 restricted zoning classification, under the zoning ordinances of the
I
City of Dania, Florida.

Section 4. - That it is the intent of City of Dania,
Florida, not to assign any zoning classification to the aforesaid
lands described as the Cities Service lands at this time.

Section 5. - That all ordinances or parts of ordinances

in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.

- That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.

PASSED AND ADOPTED on First Reading on the 21st day of
October, 1968.

jPASSED AND ADOPTED on Second Reading on the 4th day of
November, 1968.

PASSED AND ADOPTED on Third Reading on the 18th day of
November, 1968.
