AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4, OF
ORDINANCE NO, 438 OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA, WHICH SAID SECTION 4. CON-
CERNS THE FINE TO BE PAID IN THE EVENT
A TRAFFIC TICKET IS GIVEN FOR NON PAY-
MENT OF PARKING METER RATES; AND RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVID-
ING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN
FORCE AND TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY
UPON ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. - That Section 4, of Ordinance No. 438 of the City of
Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended so that said Section 4.
shall read, after amendment, as follows:
Section 4. - In the event an automobile is parked
at a public space at Dania Beach, Florida, where the space
is controlled by a parking meter and in the event a traffic
ticket is given by the Police Department because of non pay-
ment of the rate charged by City of Dania, the owner of the
automobile or any representative of the owner of the auto-
mobile in violation shall pay a fine of One Dollar ($1. 00),
provided that payment of such fine is made within twenty-
four (24) hours after the time shown on the traffic ticket,
and further provided that such payment is made by depositing
said fine in the envelope attached to the traffic ticket into
the receptacle installed for such purposes.
Section 2. - That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. - That this ordinance shall be in force and take effect im-
mediately upon its final passage and adoption.
