AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 495
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORiDA, BY PROVIDING
A NEW OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE FEE FOR COM-
MERCIAL SEAPORTS; AND RATIFYING AND CON-
FIRMING SAID ORDINANCE NO. 495 IN ALL OTHER
I RESPECTS; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE
IN FORCE AND EFFECT IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS
PASSAGE AND ADOPTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. - That Ordinance No. 495 of the City of Dania, Florida con-
cerning commercial seaports is hereby amended so that the annual occupational li-
cense fee for each commercial seaport within the City of Dania shall be $100. 00 plus
$1. 00 per 1, 000 tons for each 1, 000 tons in excess of 75, 000 tons of freight shipped
or received at the port each year (with the city manager to make estimate annually,
based on information furnished by licensee for previous years).
Section 2. - That said Ordinance No. 495 is hereby ratified and confirmed
in all other respects.
Section 3. - That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4_ - That this ordinance shall be in force and effect immediately
upon its final passage and adoption.

January 1967
PASSED and ADOPTED on Second Reading on the 20th day of
February 1987.
PASSED and ADOPTED on Third Reading on the 6th day of
March 1967.
