AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 26, CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, BY
ADDING A SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION
26-15 CONCERNING OUT OF TOWN TAXI CABS
OPERATING WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA; AND REPEALING ALL OR- :
o DINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON- €
FLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FORCE AND EFFECT
IMMEDIATELY UPON ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA:

a Section 1, That Chapter 26, Code of Ordinances, City of Dania, Florida, be
and the same is hereby amended by adding a section to be known as Section 26-15,
which shall read as follows:

Section 26-15. Out of town taxi cabs operating
within the limits of the City of Dania Florida
Under the conditions of this section, taxi
cabs owned by companies located outside the
limits of the City of Dania, Florida, may op-
erate within the limits of the city. Each out
of town taxi cab company desiring that its taxi
cabs operate within the limits of the City of
Dania, Florida, shall pay an annual occupational
license fee of $ 25,00 ; provided, however,
out cf town applicants desiring a permit to oper-
ate taxi cabs within the city limits of the City of
Dania, Florida, for the period from the effective
date of this ordinance to October 1, 1967, need
pay a fee of only $ 15.00 A Y

3 after October 1, 1967, an out of town applicant
shall pay the full annual license fee of $ 25.00
j even though he may apply for an occupational
i license for only a part of a license year. In ad-
dition to the annual occupational license fee to
be paid by an out of town taxi cab company for
the privilege of operating taxi cabs within the
limits of the City of Dania, Florida, each out of
town taxi cab company shall also pay the sum of
$5. 00 per license year for each of its taxi cabs
operating within the limits of the City of Dania,
Florida. The Chief of Police is authorized to de-
sign and furnish an appropriate sticker which shall
be affixed to each taxi cab of an out of town taxi
cab company which operates within the city and
such sticker shall be affixed to any taxi cab oper-

ating within the city and for which he annual

Section 2, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith

are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and effect immediately upon i
