I AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF A
PARKING STICKER WHICH, WHEN USED, SHALL
EXEMPT PATRONS OF AUTOMOBILES PARKED
AT METERED PARKING SPACES AT DANIA BEACH,
DANIA, FLORIDA, FROM INSERTING COINS IN SUCH
METERS DURING PERIODS OF A YEAR FROM APRIL
1ST OF THE YEAR THROUGH DECEMBER 31ST OF THE
YEAR; AND PROVIDING FOR MISCELLANEOUS TERMS
AND CONDITIONS AS TO THE USE OF SUCH STICKERS;
AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE RE-
PEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND
PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION ON
THIRD READING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: In lieu of inserting coins in the parking meters at
Dania Beach, Dania, Florida, during the period from April 1st through
December 31st of each year, patrons of Dania Beach who desire to park
automobiles in the metered parking spaces at Dania Beach may obtain
a parking sticker which, when pasted on such automobiles, shall exempt
such patrons from inserting coins in said parking meters.

Section 2: Such parking sticker shall be in a form prescribed

by the Chief of Police, City of Dania, Florida, and, when used in lieu of
inserting coins in the aforesaid parking meters at Dania Beach, shall be
pasted on the front windshield.of any automobile parked ina metered
parking space at Dania Beach.
Section 3: The charge for each parking sticker shall be One
Dollar. The amount paid by any patron for a parking sticker shall not
be refundable. Parking stickers purchased at the present time under the
provisions of this ordinance shall be good and in force and effect from the
I effective date of this ordinance to midnight, December 31, 1964. There-
after, parking stickers sold in any given year before April 1st of such year

shall be good from April 1st through December 31st of the particular year,
or, if sold after April 1st of a year, shall be good from the date of sale

through December 31st of the particular year. I
Section 4 Said parking stickers shall be of no force and
effect from January 1st through March 30th of any year and, during
said period, all patrons parking cars at metered spaces at Dania Beach
shall be obligated to insert the proper amount of coins in such meters
even though cars parked in such parkin spaces P aces may possess the afore-
said parking stickers.
Section 5: The City Clerk-Auditor be and she is hereby
directed to determine and set reasonable procedures for auditing and
accounting for all collections from such charges for the sales of said
parking stickers.
Section 6 All ordinances or parts of ordinance 'P sin conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such con-
flict. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon
its passage and adoption.
