ORDINANCE NO. 45
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 32-126 , 1971
CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
REGARDING GENERALLY THE USES PERMITTED IN
R-3 MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT SO THAT, AMONG
THE PERMITTED USES SHALL BE HOSPITALS,
CLINICS, NURSING HOMES AND SMALL ANIMAL
HOSPITALS AND CLINICS; AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

J BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
� FLORIDA:

Section 1. That with respect to the uses permitted in R-3,
Multiple Family District, existing sub-paragraph (5) of Section 32-

126, 1971 Code of Ordinances, City of Dania, Florida, which now
reads as follows, to wit,

(5) Hospitals and clinics, except
insane and corrective institutions
and animal hospital and clinics, be
and the same is hereby amended so
i that said sub-paragraph (5) shall
read and provide, after the effect
of the within amendment, as follows,
to wit:

(5) Hospitals, clinics,
nursing homes and small j
animal hospitals and clinics.
Section 2. That all ordinances, or resolutions, or parts of
ordinances or resolution, in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its final passage and adoption.

On January 7, 1974 , the city commission adopted on first
reading an ordinance to permit small animal hospitals in R-3 zoning
a classification.
The ordinance was passed on second and final reading on
February 25, 1974.

which I have assigned the number, 45 , and I request that you file
same in your official records of ordinances.
