ORDINANCE NO.
1
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING FOR
RECORD THE PLAT OF COLLEGE HOMESITES,
COVERING LANDS SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD
COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCLUDING ALL ALLEYS AND
STREETS THERE PROVIDED; DEDICATING TO THE
PERPETUAL USE OF THE PUBLIC TIIE STREETS
11 AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT OF COLLEGE
1 HOMESITES; AND ABANDONING AND VOIDING ALL
STREETS AND ALLEYS AS TO SAID LAND EXISTING
PRIOR TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROVAL OF
SAID PLAT; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES
3 OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE-
COME EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION,
ON THIRD READING.
WHEREAS, THE STIRLING CORPORATION OF BROWARD, INC. ,

a Florida corporation, is the owner of the following described land:
The SW; of the NE; of the NW; less the South 151. 50
feet and less 30 feet for county road right of way, and
the NW; of the NW; of the NW; less that part included
in College Tract, Second Addition, recorded in Plat Book 19,
page 19, Public Records of Broward County, Florida; and
less the West 35 feet for county road right of way;
and,
WHEREAS, the said owner has submitted to the City Commission

of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land, said plat being

j entitled COLLEGE HOMESITES; and I
1 WHEREAS, it appears from said plat of COLLEGE HOMESITES, I
that said plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets and alleys
shown in said plat;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
f� Section 1: That the plat of COLLEGE HOMESITES, dated the

day of , 1961, be and the same is hereby accepted and
approved for record.

Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as shown
by said plat by The Stirling Corporation of Broward, Inc. , a Florida corporation,
be and the same are hereby approved and dedicated to the perpetual use of the
public, and the streets, alleys and/or rights of way as to said land existing prior
i to the adoption of said plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned as
public streets, alleys, and/or rights of ways.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

I� Section 4, This ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately
i upon its passage and adoption.
