AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 28-71, CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, BY
REPEALING THE PRESENT SECTION KNOWN AS
SECTION 28-71 IN ITS ENTIRETY AND BY ADDING
A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 28-71
CONCERNING THE REQUIREMENT OF SIDE YARDS
FOR HOTELS, APARTMENTS, DUPLEXES AND
SINGLE FAMILY UNITS; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT
OF SUCH CONFLICT; A\TD PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AS OT
ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION, ON THIRD READING.
i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:

Section 1, 'Ihat Section 28-71, Code of Ordinances, City of
j
Dania, Florida, be, and the same is hereby repealed in its entirety,
j Section 2, That a new section to be known as 28-71 to read
as follows:
Side yard required. There shall be side yards,
and the width of each shall not be less than ten {
feet for hotels, eight feet for apartments and j
{ duplexes and five feet for single family units,

be, and the same is hereby adopted.

j Section 3, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same is hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4, That this ordinance shall become effective as of its f
passage and adoption, j
