AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING FOR
RECORD THE PLAT OF SHELTER ISLANDS 3RD
ADDITION, COVERING LANDS SITUATE IN DANIA,
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA) INCLUDING ALL
ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED; DEDI-
CATING TO THE PERPETUAL USE OF THE PUBLIC
THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT
OF SHELTER ISLANDS 3RD ADDITION; AND ABANDONING
AND VOIDING ALL STREETS AND ALLEYS AS TO SAID
LAND EXISTING PRIOR TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND
APPROVAL OF SAID PLAT; AND BY UNANIMOUS
CONSENT OF ALL COMMISSIONERS PRESENT PRO-
VIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE INTRODUCED AND READ
THE FIRST TIME AND READ BY TITLE ONLY THE SECOND
AND THIRD TIMES AND PASSED ON ALL THREE READINGS
AT THE MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA, ON SEPTEMBER 18, 1961.
WHEREAS, Clyde Conger is the owner of the following described
,.. land:
Parcel "B", SHELTER ISLANDS 2ND ADDITION,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 51,
Page 3, Public Records of Broward County, Florida;
said lands situate, lying and being in Broward County,
Florida;
and,
WHEREAS, the said owner has submitted to the City C ommission

of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land, said plat being
entitled SHELTER ISLANDS 3RD ADDITION; and,
WHEREAS, it appears from said plat of SHELTER ISLANDS 3RD
ADDITION, that said plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the
streets and alleys shown in said plat;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the plat of SHELTER ISLANDS 3RD ADDITION, dated
fthe day of 1961, be and the same is hereby accepted
and approved for record,

Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as shown

by said plat by Clyde Conger be and the same are hereby approved and
dedicated to the perpetual use of the public, and the streets, alleys and/or
rights of way as to said land existing prior to the adoption of said plat
be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned as public streets,
alleys, and/or rights of ways.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption,
y{ PASSED AND ADOPTED by unanimous consent of all commissioners
on three readings on September 18, 1961, with such ordinance being intro-
duced and read the first time on September 18, 1961, and being read by title
only the second and third times on September 18, 1961, and being passed on
all three readings at the same meeting on September 18, 1961.
