AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
3692 THE TITLE OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 369
BEING AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT SUB-
DIVIDERS SHALL INSTALL WATER LINES IN
NEW SUBDIVISIONS BEFORE BEING PERMITTED
TO TAP WATER LINES OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA, FOR WATER SERVICE, AND PROVID-
ING THE CONDITIONS TO BE MET BY SAID
SUBDIVIDERS BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO TAP
WATER LINES OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
BY ADDING ONE SENTENCE TO SECTION 2. OF
j SAID ORDINANCE NO. 369, READING AS FOLLOWS:
FURTHER, THE DEVELOPERS OR SUBDIVIDERS OF
A NEW SUBDIVISION SHALL AT THEIR EXPENSE
SUPPLY ALL LINES, HYDRANTS, VALVES, CUT-
OFFS, AND OTHER EQUIPMENT WHICH MAY BE
I REQUIRED IN THE SUBDIVISION FOR FIRE PRO-
TECTION PURPOSES, IT BEING THE INTENT OF
THIS SECTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE DEVELOPERS
OR SUBDIVIDERS OF A NEW SUBDIVISION SHALL
ASSUME ALL EXPENSES REQUIRED IN CONNECTION
WITH FURNISHING OF FIRE PROTECTION HYDRANTS
AND LINES WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION; AND PROVID-
ING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING THAT
THE ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AS OF
ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION ON THIRD READING,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,

FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: i
Section 1. That Section 2. , Ordinance No. 369, of the Ordinances
of the City of Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a
sentence to read as follows: Further, the developers or subdividers of a new
i subdivision shall at their expense supply all lines, hydrants, valves, cut-offs,

and other equipment which may be required in the subdivision for fire protection
I
purposes, it being the intent of this section to provide that the developers or
subdividers of a new subdivision shall assume all expense required in connection
i
with furnishing of fire protection hydrants and lines within the subdivision.
Section 2. That all other provisions contained in said Ordinance
No. 369 shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be, and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. �
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective as of its passage I I
and adoption on third reading.
