ORDINANCE NO. 1 C
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, BY
ADDING A SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION
24-28 TO BE ENTITLED: AUTHORITY OF CHIEF
OF POLICE TO ADOPT AND USE A TRAFFIC
TICKET AND COMPLAINT WITH REFERENCE TO
TRAFFIC OFFENSES, AND PROVIDING THAT ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT
OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING THAT THE
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS
PASSAGE AND ADOPTION ON THIRD READING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Chapter 24, Code of Ordinances, City of Dania,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a section to be known
as Section 24-28, which shall read as follows:
"Section 24-28. Authority of Chief of Police To Adopt
and Use a Traffic Ticket and Complaint
With Reference to Traffic Offenses,
"The Chief of Police of the City of Dania, Florida, be
and he is hereby authorized to adopt a traffic ticket and
complaint for use by the Police Department of the City of
Dania, Florida, in connection with traffic offenses com-
mitted within the City Limits of the City of Dania, Florida,
with the type of traffic ticket and complaint to be substan-
tially similar to the type of traffic ticket and complaint now
used by the City of Hollywood, Florida, a copy of which is
as follows:

«' Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with be, and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective as of its passage '
and adoption on third reading.
