AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-15 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AND
PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT: AND PROVIDING THAT THE
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS
PASSAGE AND ADOPTION ON THIRD READING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 13-15, Code of Ordinances, City of Dania, Florida,
be and the same is hereby amended to read, after amendment, as follows:
"Section 13-15. Compensation
"All members of the Fire Department who shall participate
in the actual fighting of a fire shall be compensated as follows:
$4. 00 minimum for fighting a house fire shall be compensation
for the first hour and $1. 00 per hour for additional hours in fight-
ing such fire. $3. 00 minimum for fighting a brush or grass fire
for the first hour and $1. 00 per hour for each additional hour in
fighting such brush or grass fire. "
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be,
and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective as of its passage and
adoption on third reading.
