AN ORDINANCE REFERRING TO CERTAIN LANDS RECENTLY
ANNEXFD TO THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF
DANIA BY THE 1955 SESSION OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
STATE OF FLORIDA AS NORTH DANIA; DECLARING THAT IT
IS FOR THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE CITY OF DANIA
THAT SAID LANDS BE ZONED; AND ADOPTING A ZONE MAY
OF NORTH DANIA AS BEING EFFECTIVE AND DEFINING THE
ZONING USES OH SAID RECENTLY ACQUIRED LANDS WHICH
ARE REFERREDTO AS NORTH DANIA; AND INCORPORATION
OF SAID ZONE MAP AS A PART HEMEOF.
WHEREAS, by Legislation enacted by the 1955 session of
the Legislature of the State of Florida, certain lands referred
to herein as North Dania were added to the City of Dania in that
the northern limits of the City of Dania were extended and enlarged
to include said lands; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable for the best
interests of the City of Dania that said lands referred to herein
as North Dania be zoned and in accordance with the uses defined ,

in Chapter 28, Code of Ordinances, City of Dania, Florida, and
WHEREAS
, a certain zone map of said North Dania has been
prepared and is om file at the City Hall, City of Dania, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Dania, after
Proper Study of the zonin
g needs of Nortr. Dania, wishes to adopt
said zone map of North Dania, as Prepared

pose of zoning North Dania,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF DANIA9 FLORIDA..
Sec__ tion 1: That all lands annexed to the northern boundary
or, northern limits of the City of Dania, by Legislation enacted

by the 1955 session of the Legislature of the State of Florida are
• referred to herein as North Dania.
Section 2: That the zone map of North Dania which has been
Prepared by A. F. Pimental and which is on file at the City Hall,

City of Dania, is hereby declared to be in full force and effect
and is hereby adopted as setting forth and defining the zoning
districts and uses of North Dania and as being the official zone

map of North Dania.
Section That the aforesaid zone map of North Dania is
incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof as fully
as if set forth in haec verba.
1 Section That the aforesaid zone man of North Dania and
I the symbols or designations contained thereon shall be interpreted
in accordance with the symbols, designations, and uses which are

defined in Chapter 28, Code of Ordinances, City of Dania, Florida.

Section : That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of such conflict.
Section 6: That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upom its passage and adoption.
