ORDINANCE NO. Sot
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL MOTOR VEHICLES
USED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA, FOR THE SOLICITATION OF
BUSINESS OR THE DELIVERY OR TRANSPORTATION
OF MERCHANDISE TO DISPLAY UPON EACH SIDE
THEREOF THE NAME OF THE OWNER OR OWNERS AND
THE CHARACTER OF BUSINESS IN WHICH SAID
VEHICLE IS INVOLVED; REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES
UTILIZED WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
QF DANIA, FLORIDA, FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF
EQUIPMENT AND/OR 14ATERIALS USED IN GLNERAL
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TO DISPLAY ON EACH SIDE
THEREOF THE NAI✓E OF THE OWNER OR OWNERS AND
THE CHARACTER OF THE BUSINESS IN WHICH SAID
VEHICLE IS ,NGAGED; AND PROVIDING A PEWALTY.
WHEREAS, there are presently numerous motor vehicles .
of many types and descriptions operating within the City
of Dania for the purpose of soliciting business, delivering or
transporting merchandise and serving the construction
industry; and,
WHERi�AS, it is in the public interest of the citizens
of Dania that said motor vehicles be identified as to
their ownership and the nature of their, business;

Section 1: That all rotor vehicles used within
the city limits of the City of Dania, Florida, for the
solicitation of business or the delivery or transportation
of merchandise shall have prominently displayed upon
each side thereof the name of the owner or owners and
the character of the business in wr ich s_:id vehicle is
engaged.
Section 2: That all motor vehicles utilized
within the city limits of the City of Dania, Florida
for the transportation of equipment and/or materials used

in general building construction shall have prominently
displayed upon each side thereof the name of the owner

i or owners and the character of the business in which I

said vehicle is engac;ed.

Section 3: That all persons convicted of vio-
lating this ordinance shall be punished by a fine not
to exceed Two Hundred Dollars (yr200.00) or by imprison-
ment not to exceed ninety days.
Section q: All ordinances or resolutions, or
parts of ordinances or resolutions, in conflict here-
with are repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage and adopticn.
