AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING EXISTENT
REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS CONCERN-
ING SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND; REQUIRING ALLEY
PROFILES, PAVING, AND/OR PAVING BONDS,
WITHIN THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORMA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The owners of lots or parcels of land within the
corporate limits of the City of Dania as now defined, or as may hereafter
be defined as the corporate limits of the City of Dania, who shall sub-
divide or lay out such lots or grounds into a subdivision, shall as a
condition precedent to the official acceptance and approval by the City
Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, of a plat of such subdivision,
first fully perform and comply with the following regulations and require-
ments:
A. Furnish, along with each subdivision plat, a plan

showing profiles of alleys and grade line of paving to be constructed,
together with all culverts or other existing or proposed drainage struc-
ture or devices. All elevations shown must be referred to U. S. C.

and G. S. Mean Sea Level.
B. Pave all alleys contained in the subdivision or shown
on the subdivision plat, and all such paving shall strictly conform to the
specifications of the City of Dania, Florida. Due notice of intention to
begin construction shall be filed with the City Manager and/or Building
Inspector, in order that arrangements for inspection may be made.
The City Manager and/or Building Inspector shall furnish paving speci-
fications upon request.
OR, IN THE ALTERNATIVE:

In the event the plat of a subdivision is to be filed before

j the paving is completed, as aforesaid, the owner shall furnish a good

and sufficient bond, conditioned upon the completion of all required
paving within a period not to exceed six (6) months, and in an amount
equal to One and 25/100 Dollars ($1. 25) per square yard of area to be
paved.
Section 2: The provisions of this ordinance'shall be supple-
mental and not in lieu of, all existing ordinances and regulations ex-
isting in the City of Dania, Flo:•ida, and specifically, the zoning ordi-
nances and provisions of Article 3, part 1X, of the official Charter of

the City of Dania, Florida.

Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
