ORDINANCE NO. I�
AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING THE POSTING A PAVING
BOND AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO THE ISSU-
ANCE OF CERTAIN BUILDING PERMITS WITHIN THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: All applicants for the issuance of a building permit
for the construction of improvements upon a lot or parcel of land bordered
by, or adjacent to an unpaved street, shall, as a part of their application and
as a condition precedent to the issuance of said permit by said City, first
furnish to the City of Dania a good and sufficient bond, conditioned upon the
payment to the City of the paving assessment to be made against said lot or
parcel when said City shall have paved said street and further conditioned
that said payment shall be made to the City on the day following the adoption
of a resolution approving and confirming the Assessment List.
Section 2: The amount of said bond shall be computed on the

basis of One and 25/100 Dollars ($1. 25) per square fa$t: of the area re-
quired to be paved, for which said lot or parcel is responsible as pres-
cribed in the ordinance of the City of Dania, Florida.
Section 3: Said bond shall be for a period of ,2, years and

if said street shall not have been paved upon the expiration of said period,
then said bond shall be null and void.
Section 4: Nothing herein contained �h all be construed as
affecting the validity of existing or future paving assessment and/or liens.
Section 5: The provisions of this ordinance shall be supple-
mental, and not in lieu of, all existing ordinances and regulations existing {
in the Ci ty of Dania, Florida, and specifically, the zoning ordinances and j

provisions of Article 3, Part IX, of the official Charter of the City of
Dania, Florida.
Section 6: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict.
Section 7: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
