AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
FOR RECORD THE PLAT OF FORREST HOME-
SITES, COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA,
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCLUDING ALL
ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED, AND
DEDICATING TO THE PERPETUAL USE OF THE
PUBLIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN
ON SAID PLAT OF FORREST HOMESITES.
WHEREAS, Carl Bachtold and Dorothy Bachtold, husband
and wife, are the owners of the following described land:
That part of the North Half (N 1/2) of the North-
west Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter
(SE 1/4) of Section 3, Township 51 South, Range
42 East, Broward County, Florida, described
as follows:
Starting at the Southwest corner of said North
Half (N 1/2) run south along the West line of the
said North Half (N 1/2) a distance of 294 feet,
thence run east parallel to the South line of said

westerly right of way line of S. E. Second Avenue
as deeded to the City of Dania, thence run North
along said right of way line 380 feet more or

more or less to a point located 246 feet east of the
Northwest corner of said North Half (N 1/2),
thence run South parallel to the East line of said
North Half (N 1/2) a distance of 380 feet more
or less to the point of beginning and containing
3. 6 Acres.
WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City Com-
mission of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land,
said plat being entitled FORREST HOMESITES; and,
WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said plat corn-

plies with the official Charter of the City of Dania, and its ordinances;
and,
WHEREAS, the said Commission finds from said plat of
FORREST HOMESITES that said plat dedicates to the perpetual use of

the public, the streets and alleys shown in said plat;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the plat of FORREST HOMESITES, dated the
day of 1955, be and the same is hereby accepted
and approved for record.
Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as
shown by said plat by Carl Bachtold and Dorothy Bachtold, be and the
same are hereby approved and dedicated to the perpetual use of the pub-
lic, and the streets, alleys, and/or rights of way as to the said land ex-
isting prior to the adopting of said plat be and the same are hereby voided

and abandoned as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such con-
flict.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
