HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1954-326 ORDINANCE NO . 3a AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROV- ING FOR RECORD THE PLAT OF ANDERSON'S SUBDIVISION, COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN- CLUDING ALL ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED, AND DEDICATING TO THE PER- PETUAL USE OF THE PUBLIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT OF ANDERSON'S SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, Henry G. Anderson and Beatrice E. Anderson, husband and wife, are the owners of the following described land: The West Half (W 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4); and the East Half (E 1/2) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the North- west Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section Thirty-four (34), Township Fifty (50) South, Range Forty- two (42) East; and, WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land, said plat being en- titled ANDERSON'S SUBDIVISION; and, WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said plat complies with the official Charter of the City of Dania, and its ordinances; and, WHEREAS, it appears from said plat of ANDERSON'S SUB- DIVISION that said plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets and alleys shown in said plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM- MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: i r Section 1: That the plat of ANDERSON'S SUBDIVISION, dated the day of 1954, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved for record. i Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as shown by said plat by Henry G. Anderson and Beatrice E. Anderson, be and the I same are hereby approved and dedicated to e perpetual use of the public, (I the I E I l -1 33, 1 1 and the streets, alleys, and/or rights of way as to said land existing prior to the adopting of said plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way. Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such con- flict. Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED on First reading this 8tk day of j A.
