AN ORDINANCE SUPPLEMENTING EXISTENT
n REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS CONCERNING Mj
SUBDIVISIONS OF LAND; REQUIRING STREET PRO-
FILES, PAVING, AND/OR PAVING BONDS, WITHIN
THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: The owners of lots or parcels of land within the

corporate limits of the City of Dania as now defined, or as may hereafter
be defined as the corporate limits of the City of Dania, who shall subdivide

or lay out such lots or grounds into a subdivision, shall as a condition pre-
cedent to the official acceptance and approval by the City Commission of
the City of Dania, Florida, of a plat of such subdivision, first fully perform

and comply with the following regulations and requirements:
A. Furnish, along with each subdivision plat, a plan show-
ing profiles of all streets and grade line of paving to be constructed, together
with all culverts or other existing or proposed drainage structures. All ele-
vations shown must be referred to U. S. C. and G. S. Mean Sea Level. "

B. Pave all streets contained in the subdivision or shown on
the subdivision plat, and all such paving shall strictly conform to the speci-
fications of the City of Dania, Florida. Due notice of intention to begin cons-

truction shall be filed with the City Manager and/or Building Inspector, in
I
order that arrangements for inspections may be made. The City Manager
and/or Building Inspector shall furnish paving specifications upon request.
OR, IN THE ALTERNATIVE:

In the event the plat of a subdivision is to be filed before the

J paving is completed, as aforesaid, the owner shall furnish a good and
sufficient bond, conditioned upon the completion of all required paving within I

a period not to exceed six (o) months, and in an amount equal to One and
,
25/100 Dollars ($1. 25) per square yard of area to be paved.

{{ C. The owner shall fill all lots in the subdivision to a height
equal to the crown of the next adjacent street, road, or avenue.
1 Section 2: The provisions of this ordinance shall be supple-
mental, and not in lieu of, all existing ordinances and regulations existing
in the City of Dania, Florida, aryl specifically, the zoning ordinances and pro-
visions of Article 3, Part a, of the official Charter of the City of Dania,
Florida.

Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict

herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
