ORDINANCE NO.3z,
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
FOR RECORD THE AMENDED PLAT OF THE
EAST 415 FEET OF BLOCKS 1, 2, 31 AND 4, OF
THE AMENDED PLAT OF HARBOR LAWNS NO,
1, COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD Ns `
COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCLUDING ALL ALLEYS 1
AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED, AND DEDI-
CATING TO THE PERPETUAL USE OF THE PUB-
LIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON
SAID AMENDED PLAT.

WHEREAS, Joseph P. Hurley as Bishop of the Diocese of
Saint Augustine, Florida, is the owner of the following described land:
The East Four Hundred and Fifteen (415) feet
of Blocks one, two, three and four, of the Amen-
ded Plat of HARBOR LAWNS NO. 1, accordng
to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 14,
page 46, of the public records of Broward County,
Florida; together with the area shown on said
�i plat as North East Fifty-Second Street, North
East Fifty-Third Street, North East Fifty-Fourth
Street, North East Fifty-Fifth Street, and that
portion of the Dania Cutoff Canal and River Drive
lying within the East and West boundaries of said
East Four Hundred and Fifteen (415) feet of said
blocks if said East and West boundaries were ex-
tended Northerly to the One Quarter (1/4), One
Quarter (1/4) section line of Section 340 Township-
50 South, Range 42 East; together with all of the
.,uF Thirty (30) foot street shown on said plat as Eighth
Avenue, and also that portion of Dania Cutoff Canal
lying within the East and West boundaries of said
Eighth Avenue if said East and West boundaries of
said Eighth Avenue were extended Northerly to the
One Quarter (1/4), One Quarter (1/4) section line
{` of Section 34, Township 50 South, Range 42 East;
containing twelve (12) acres, more or less; said
lands situate, lying and being in Broward County,
Florida,
Above description being more particularly described
as follows: The East Four Hundred and Forty-five
feet of the South East One Quarter (SE-1/4) of the
North East One Quarter (NE-1/4) of Section 34,
Township 50 South, Range 42 East, Broward County,
Florida.

WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City
Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, an amended plat of the
aforesaid land; and
WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said amended
plat complies with the official Charter of the City of Dania, and its M
ordinances; and,
WHEREAS, it appears from said amended plat that said
amended plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets
and alleys shown in said amended plat;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
i
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
i
Section 1: That the amended plat, as hereinabove des-
cribed, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved for record.
Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as
shown by said amended plat by Joseph P. Hurley as Bishop of the Diocese
of Saint Augustine, Florida, be and the same are hereby approved and
dedicated to the perpetual use of the public, and the streets, alleys,

and/or rights of way as to said land existing prior to the adoption of
said amended plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned
i
as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
. i
i
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
i
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
