HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1953-309 1 ORDINANCE NO . 09 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING FOR RECORD AN AMENDED PLAT OF BLOCK ONE OF SPAR-RICH, COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN- CLUDING ALL ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED; DEDICATING TO THE PERPETUAL USE OF THE PUBLIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON SAID AMENDED PLAT OF BLOCK ONE OF SPARRICH; AND ABANDONING AND VOIDING ALL STREETS AND ALLEYS AS TO SAID LAND EXISTING PRIOR TO THE ACCEPTANCE AND APPROVAL OF SAID AMENDED PLAT. WHEREAS, William E. Richardson and Ruth L. Richardson, husband and wife, John M. Conroy and Anais R. Conroy, husband and wife, I James C. Conley and Mary E. Conley, husband and wife, and Charles P. Wood and Bernadette S. Wood, husband and wife, are the owners of the following described land: All of Block One (1) of SPAR-RICH, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 31, page 36, of the public records of Broward County, Florida; and, rt ' WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, an amended plat of the aforesaid land; and, WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said amended plat complies with the official charter of the City of Dania, and its ordinances; and, WHEREAS, it appears from said amended plat that said Plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets and alleys shown in said amended plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM- MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: i Section 1: That the amended plat of Block One (1), of SPAR_i RICH, dated the 2 _ day of 1953, be and the same I 1 i j i t j i I is hereby accepted and approved for record. Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as shown by said amended plat by William E. Richardson, Ruth L. Richardson, James C. Conley, Mary E. Conley, John M. Conroy, Anais R. Conroy, Charles P. Wood, and Bernadette S. Wood, be and the same are hereby approved and dedicated to the perpetual use of the public, and the streets, alleys, and/ or rights of way as to said land existing prior to the adoption of said plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way. I Section. 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED on First reading this 28th day of September, A. D. 1953.
