ORDINANCE NO.
AN-ORDINANCE LEVYING A TAX UPON LICENSEES
OF THE STATE RACING COMMISSION LICENSED
TO OPERATE A JAI ALAI FRONTON WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LMTS OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CONWSSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That a tax of Ten Dollars ($10. 00) per day be and
j the same is hereby i
levied against Licensees of the State Racing Commssion
licensed to operate a Jai Alai Fronton within the corporate limits of the City
j of Dania, Florida, for each and every day that such Fronton shall actually
I
1 operate.
Section 2: Said tax shall be paid to said City at the conclusion
of each and every Jai Alai season.

Section 3• The terms and provisions of this ordinance shall
I
not be construed in limitation of but in addition to any and all other taxes
u and license provisions of the City of Dania imposed upon a licensee of the
i
State Racing Commission.

Section 4: The tax herein imposed is as provided in Chapter
551. 07 Florida Statutes of 1951.
Section 5: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 6: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect im-
mediately upon its passage and adoption.
