AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING
FOR RECORD THE AMENDED PLAT OF BLOCKS
FOUR AND FIVE AND A PORTION OF BLOCK SIX
OF POINCIANA PARK, COVERING LAND SITUATE
IN DANIA, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN-
CLUDING ALL ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE
PROVIDED, AND DEDICATING TO THE PERPETUAL
USE OF THE PUBLIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS
SHOWN ON SAID AMENDED PLAT.
WHEREAS, William E. Richardson and Ruth L. Richardson,
husband and wife, are the owners of the following described land:
Portions of Poinciana Park, according to the plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 5, page 17, of the public records
of Broward County, Florida; described as follows:
Bounded on the North by Dania Cut-off Canal as now con-
structed and used; on the South by the southerly right of
way line of Poinciana Avenue; on the East by the easterly
boundary line of said Poinciana Park; on the West by
center line of an un-named canal, lying West of Bougenvilia
Street, and its extension southward to the southerly right
of way line of said Poinciana Avenue, together with the
East Forty (40) feet of Lot Nine (9), and all of Lots Ten
(10) through Twenty-two (22), inclusive, of Block Six (6),
of said Poinciana Park; said land situate, lying and being
in Broward County, Florida;
and,
WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City Commission
of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land, said plat being
entitled, Amended Plat of Blocks Four (4) and Five (5), and a Portion of
Block Six (6), of Poinciana Park; and,
WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said plat complies
with the official Charter of the City of Dania, and its ordinances; and,
WHEREAS, it appears from saidAmendedPlat of Blocks Four
(4) and Five (5), and a portion of Block Six (6), of Poinciana Park, that said
plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets and alleys shown

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:

Section 1: That the amended plat of Blocks Four and Five
and a portion of Block Six of Poinciana Park, dated the day of

1953, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved
for record.
Section 2: That all streets, alleys and rights of way as shown
i
by said plat by William E. Richardson and Ruth L. Richardson, be and the
same are hereby approved and dedicated to the perpetual use of the public,
and the streets, alleys, and/or rights of way as to said land existing prior
to the adoption of said plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned
as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict,

Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
