j AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC . 24-14. , 1971
1 CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF DANIA,
i FLORIDA, REGARDING PERMITS , INSPECTIONS
AND FEES FOR CONNECTIONS TO THE SEWER
SYSTEM; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
j BE REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
l AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE-
COME EFFECTIVE AS OF ITS PASSAGE AND ADOPTION.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
i
{ DANIA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
i
Section 1. That Sec. 24-14. , 1971 Code of Ordinances
3 of the City of Dania, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
to read, after the effect of the amendment, as follows:

Sec. 24-14 . Connections to sewer system-
Permit,
inspection; fees and charges .
(a) Any property owner desiring that his
property be served by said sanitary sewer system,
where the property is capable of being served by
such system, may cause sewer or plumbing lines to
be connected from the house, building or other
». { improvement on said property to the sanitary sewer
1 system by obtaining a permit from the city. The
cost of the permit shall be five dollars ($5 .00)
and shall include one (1) inspection. If the
said connection is not approved at the first in-
spection, the city may charge five dollars ($5.00)
for each additional inspection required.
(b) In addition, upon the application of
{ any owner or user for sewer service on premises
to which there has not been any previous service
j for sewers and where there is no existing outlet,
tie-in or tap-in to the main sewer line, a tap-in
charge of $75.00 shall be made to cover the cost
of the tap and the installation of the sewer
service to the property line of the lot to be
!!} supplied with sewer service . "
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
hereby repealed to the

Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED and ADOPTED on First Reading on the 6th day
of December, 1971.
