HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1953-299 `I J I a 3 i j ORDINANCE NO. � AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING FOR RECORD THE PLAT OF SPAR-RICH, COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA, INCLUDING ALL ALLEYS AND STREETS THERE PROVIDED, AND DEDI- CATING TO THE PERPETUAL USE OF THE PUBLIC THE STREETS AND ALLEYS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT OF SPAR-RICH. WHEREAS, William E. Richardson and Ruth L. Richardson, husband and wife, John M. Conroy and Anais R. Conroy, husband and wife, James C. Conley and Mary E. Conley, husband and wife, and Charles P. Wood and Bernadette S. Wood, husband and wife, are the owners of the following described land: The Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the South- east Quarter (SE 1/4); the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4); less the West Forty-five (45) feet thereof; and Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4); the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4); less the West Sixty (60) feet thereof; in Section Thirty-four (34), Township Fifty (50) South, Range Forty-two (42) East. All of said land situate, lying and being in Broward County, Florida; and, WHEREAS, said owners have submitted to the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida, a plat of the aforesaid land, said plat being entitled SPAR-RICH; and, WHEREAS, the said Commission finds that said plat complies with the official Charter of the City of Dania, and its ordinances; and, WHEREAS, it appears from said plat of SPAR-RICH that said plat dedicates to the perpetual use of the public, the streets and alleys shown in said plat; . I -1- ' 6 i I t 1 it NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM- MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA: Section 1: That the plat of SPAR-RICH, dated the day of , 1953, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved for record. i Section 2: That all streets, alleys ai-id rights of way as shown by said plat by William E. Richardson, Ruth L. Richardson, James C. Conley, Mary E. Conley, Tohn M. Conroy, Anais R. Conroy, Charles P. Wood, and Bernadette S. Wood, be and the same are hereby approved and dedicated to the perpetual use of the public, and the streets, alleys, and/or rights of way as to said land existing prior to the adoption of said plat be and the same are hereby voided and abandoned as public streets, alleys, and/or rights of way. Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordiances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict. Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED on First reading this day of _1 a s , A.D. 1953.
