AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE ZONING CLASS
"BUSINESS B-Z", ZONING CERTAIN LAND IN THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA) AS "BUSINESS B-Z",
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.

' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the zoning classification "Business B-Z" be

and the same is hereby created, which said classification shall have the
same rules, regulations, requirements, limitations, and privileges as
the classification "Business B", as provided in the Zoning Ordinances of
the City of Dania, Florida, except:
' I (a) "Business B-Z" zoning classification shall permit
i pari mutuel betting, and use of land contained within said
classification for the purpose of pari mutuel betting.

Section 2: That, after lawful notice and public hearing,
Zoning Ordinances Nos. 278 and 279 of the City of Dania, Florida, be and
d the same are hereby amended, in manner following:

The following described land:
The East Half (E 1/2) of the Northwest Quarter
j (NW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of
the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4); the West Half
(W 1/2) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of
l the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast
Quarter (SE 1/4); the East Half (E 1/2) of the
Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast
j Quarter (NE 1/4), of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4);
I and the West Half (W 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter
I (SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the
i Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Thirty-four
(34), Township Fifty (50) South, Range Forty-two
{ (42) East, containing twenty (20) acres, more or
less,
i
be and the same is hereby zoned "Business B-Z", as herein-
above defined and as defined in the Zoning Ordinances of the
City of Dania, Florida; and all regulations and requirements
appertaining to "Business B-Z" zoning classification shall
apply to the aforesaid property.

Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

1 , and passed upon its first reading on January 12,
1953, by the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to amend Section 2 of said pro-
posed ordinance upon its second and third reading, by eliminating certain
Of the land affected by said ce proposed ordinan
� P , thereby creating a buffer area of 300 feet upon the northerly boundary of said land so affected; and,
WHEREAS, this amendment is made by virtue of the authority
contained in Section 1, Article 3, Part II, of the official Charter of the City
of Dania, Florida;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA
FLORIDA:
Section 1:

That Section 2 of the certain ordinance entitled,

and the West Half (W 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter
(SE 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of the
Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section Thirty-four

(42) East, containing fifteen (15) acres, more or

Section 2: That this amendment shall be attached to, and

its contents made an official part of, the aforesaid proposed ordinance, as
