Section 6, Article 5, Part VII of the offi-
cial charter of the City of Dania provides three jenera.l methods
by which property shall On assessed for benefits provir,ed it;

Section 1: Special assessments upon property deemed
to be benefited by the pavin7 or improv&Z of nublic roads or

streets shall be accomplished as Follows :
A. The City of Dania stall pay the cost of paving
or 1:nnro%,1n,; street intersections, that is to
say, that part of We intersection which does not

abut or bound private property.

jB. Private property directly abutting, or boundinL;

tiie nublic street- or road which is paved or im-
proved shall be assessed a sum equal to the total

lawful cost of paving or imuroving to the midline
of said street or road that portion of the street
