AN ORDINANCE REGULATING SALES PRACTICES
j IN THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA.
1 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:

Section 1: Any person, firm, or corporation in the City of
Dania, Florida, who shall, with intent to injure or defraud, take orders and
accept payment for merchandise and/or services, and fail to deliver said
i
merchandise or services, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con-
viction thereof shall be punished by fine not exceeding $500. 00, or by im-
prisonment not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 2: In all prosecutions for a violation of Section 1
i
hereof, the failure or refusal, without just cause, to deliver such mer-
chandise or services, or to return payment for same, within a reasonable

time, shall be prima facie evidence of the intent to injure or defraud.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
