AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING AND APPROVING FOR
RECORD THE PLAT OF DANIA MEMORIAL PARK tr
COVERING LAND SITUATE IN DANIA, BROWARD
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR/COMMISSIONER, CITY MANAGER, AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN INSTRUMENT OF
DEDICATION ATTACHED TO SAID PLAT, AND TO
FILE SAID PLAT IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Dania is the owner of the following de-
scribed land:
The West Half (W 1/2) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4)
of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southwest
Quarter (SW 1/4), and all that portion lying East of the
right-of-way of the Florida East Coast Railway of the
Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter
(NW 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section
Three (3), Township Fifty-one (51) South, Range Forty-
two (42) East;
and
Lots Seventy-seven (77) to One Hundred Five (105), in
Block Four (4); all of Block Five (5); all of Block Thirteen
(13), less Lots Three (3), Ten (10), Fourteen (14), and
One Hundred Twenty-eight (128); and all of Block Fourteen
(14), of WOODLAWN CEMETERY, according to the plat
thereof recorded in the public records of Broward County,
Florida;

and,
WHEREAS, the said City has caused the above described land
to be resurveyed and resudivided in manner shown on that certain plat en-
titled DANIA MEMORIAL PARK, which was prepared by Walter A. McEifresh,
Civil Engineer, and dated the day of 1952; and,
WHEREAS, the said plat complies with the official Charter and
ordinances of the City of Dania;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:

Section 1: That the aforesaid plat of DANIA MEMORIAL PARK
be and the same is hereby accepted and adopted as the official plat of DANIA I

j MEMORIAL PARK, the same to amend and supersede portions of
all
former plats of said cemetery or property.
Section 2: That the aforesaid plat be and the same is hereby
approved for record, and the Mayor/Commissioner, City Manager and
City Clerk of the City of Dania be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the instrument of dedication attached to said plat, and
to file said plat for record in the public records of Broward County,
Florida.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in force and take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
{ Section 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5: By unanimous consent of all of the commissioners
present, this ordinance has been introduced and read for the first time and
i read for the second and third time; and passed on all three readings at this
meeting of the City Commission of the City of Dania, Florida; and has been
passed by a unanimous vote of all the commissioners present at this
meeting
