DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That it shall be unlawful for any person
to erect a billboard or directional sign within the corporate
I
limits of the City of Dania, Florida.
i
Section 2: The word "person" as used herein shall be
construed to extend and apply to associations, firms, partner-
ships, and bodies politic and corporate, as well as to individuals.

Section 3: The definitions of billboards and direc-
tional signs shall be the same as those found in prior ordinances
i of the City of Dania, Florida, and more particularly, billboards
�!+ and directional signs shall be defined as signs advertising any
kind of merchandise or services at locations other than where
such merchandise or services are actually sold, produced, manu-
factured, or furnished.

Section It shall be the duty of the Building In-
spector and the Police Department of the City of Dania, Florida,
i to strictly enforce all the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 5: Any person wno violates the provisions of
this ordinance, or assists in any violation of this ordinance,
I
shall, for each and every violation, upon conviction, be punished
by a fine not exceeding 4600.00, or by imprisonment not exceeding
J
60 days, or by both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of
f
the Municipal Judge. Each day that a violation exists after
written notice to the violator, shall constitute a separate
offense.
Section 6: This ordinance snall be in force and take

effect immediately upon its passage and adoption. I

Section 7: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewit',i be and the salee are hereby repealed to the
extent of such conflict.
