AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR LEAVE. OF ABSENCE
FOR ANY OFFICIAL OR EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA, FROM THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICES
AND DUTIES TO PERFORM ACTIVE MILITARY SERVICE;
AND PROVIDING FOR TIE READING AND PASSAGE OF
THIS ORDINANCE AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE UPON
I N OF THE CITY
OFEDANIA,NBY A UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE CITY CCOOF THE MEMBERS
PRESENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 'CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That any officer or employee of the
City of Dania who shall leave his respective office or duty to
perform active military service of the United States, whether
as a volunteer or through selective service, shall have, and
hereby is granted leave of absence from their respective office
and duties to perform such active military service.
Section 2 : That such officer or employee �.e the
City of Dania who shall perform active military service, during the
time of such active military service of the United States, shall
be granted leave of absence, according to the terms of Chapter
207180 Laws of Florida, 1941, F.S.A. 115.14, and such officer or
employee of the City of Dania shall have the first thirty (30)
days of such leave of absence with full pay, and the remainder
without pay.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its pasage and adoption.
Section 4: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the ex-
tent of such conflict.
Section 5 : By unanimous consent of all the commis-
sioners present, this ordinance has been introduced and read
for the first time and read for the second time and third time; and
passed on all three readings at this meeting of the City

Commission of the City of Dania, Florida; and has been passed
by a unanimous vote of all the commissioners present at this
meeting.
