AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUNT ARID RATE OF
TAXATION; MkKING THL TAX LEVY FOR THL FIS-
CAL YEE, R 1950-1951.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That there be and there is hereby levied
upon all taxable property in the City of Dania, both real and
personal, save and except that property designated as Home-
stead property, in conformity with the Constitution of the
State of Florida and Statutes declaratory thereof, a tax of
17 mills on the dollar of assessed valuation for the fiscal
year beginning September 1, 1950 and ending August 31, 1951
for the benefit of the General Find of the City of Dania in
payment of the budget estimate for the General Fund for said
fiscal year.

Section 2: That there is no levy made for the bone-
fit of the Sinking Fund of the City of Dania, as there is hereby
appropriated the sum of 467,555.00 for Sinking Fund purposes of
the City of Dania from the Cigarette Tax Fund.
Section 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances and
resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage and adoption.
Section 5: By unanimous consent of all the commission-
ers present, this ordinance has been introduced and read for the
first time and read for the second and third time; and passed on
all three readings at this meeting; of the City Commission of

the City of Dania, Florida, and has been passed by a unanimous
vote of all the commissioners present at this meeting.
