DANIA, FLORIDA FROM THE EXCISE AND PRIVILEGE TAX
UPON THE SALE, RECEIPT, PURCHASE, POSSESSION, COPISUIHYTION,
HANDLING, DISTRIBUTION AND USE OF CIGARETTES IN
THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT
WORK, AND PROVIDING FOR THE READING AND PASSAGE

PRESENT.
WHEREAS the City of Dania has previously by Ordinance
No, levied and imposed an excise and privilege tar, upon
the sale, receipt, purchase, possession, consumption, handling,
distribution and use of cigarettes in the City of Dania, Florida,
and it is provided in said Ordinance that the fund, "Cigarette
Tax Fund", shall be appropriated and expended by the City Commis-
sion for certain purposes, among which are streets, curbs, drains,
gutters, and other purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Commission of

the City of Dania:
Section 1: That there be, and there hereby is appropriated from
the "Cigarette Fund", for the current fiscal year for the City
of Dania, Florida, the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars (y�20,000.00)
for street improvement work within the City of Dania, Florida.

Section 2: All ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances
or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the
i
extent of such conflict.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on
July 10, 1950.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1 Oth day of July, A. D., 1950.
