AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING ERRORS IN TAX ROLL
FOR CITY OF DANIA, FLORL7A FOR TIE YEAR
1949 AS SHOWN HEREIN; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE READING APID PASSAGE OF TIiIS ORDINANCE
AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE UPON ONE MEETING
OF THE CITY COMPI,ISSIOP; OF THE CITY OF
DANIA BY A UNANIMOUS CONSENT OF THE MEMBERS
PRESENT.
WHEREAS, two errors appear in the tax roll for the
City of Dania, Florida for the year 1949 as hereinafter noted;
and,
WHEREAS, it is the purpose of the City Commission
of the City of Dania, Florida to correct said errors,
NOW, THEREFO[3E, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMh4ISSI0N
OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
, v Section 1 : That the following described property
assessed in the name of Marjorie Bloch assessed incorrectly
at $20,000.00, be and the same is hereby corrected to
$129000.00; towit :
The North 130 feet of the South 230 feet of
the West 315 feet of the South half (S2) of
the South half (S2) of the Southwest quarter
(SWV) of the Northeast quarter (NE4), le a
street Section Thirty-four (34), Township
Fifty t50) South, Range Forty-two (42) East.
Section 2 : That the property hereinafter described
was incorrectly assessed to B. Frank Crane showing an improve-
ment in the amount of $700.00, when in truth and in fact no
such improvement exists, said property being described as :
Lot Two (2) , Block "A" of DANETTE SUBDIVISION,
according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 16, page 65, of the public records
of Broward County, Florida,
That said real estate shall be assessed for the value shown
on said roll in the amount of 4100.p0.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.

Section 4 : All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict,

Section 5 : By unanimous consent of all the commis-
sioners present , this ordinance has been introduced and read
for the first time and read for the second and third time;
i

and passed on all three readings at this meeting of the City
Commission of the City of Dania, Florida; and has been
passed by a unanimous vote of all the commissioners present
at this meeting.
PASSED FIRST READING this 7th day of November, 1949 .
PASSED SECOND READING this 7th day of November, 1949.
PASSED THIRD READING this 7th day of November, 1949.
