RE-ENACTING THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING
OF PLUMBERS, ELECTRICIANS AND GENERAL COSl-
TRACTORS; CONFIRMING AND RATIFYING AND RE-
ENACTING SUCH ORDINANCES AS REQUIRE AN
EXAMINATION BEFORE A DULY CONSTITUTED
BOARD BEFORE ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORA-
TION SHALL ENGAGE IN SUCH BUSINESSES 'M TH-
IN THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AND APPOINT-
ING SUCH EXAMINING BOARDS.
WHEREAS, the Legislature of Florida has lately
passed and adopted a Special Act creating and establishing
a new Charter for the City Of Dania; and
W1.�S, said new City Charter provides and auth-
orizes the licensing of the professions and businesses of
plumbers, electricians and general contractors; and that
such licenses shall be issued pursuant to an examination
as to the qualifications of such licensees before any li-
cense shall be issued to any person, firm or corporation
to engage in such businesses;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section l: That the City Commission of the City
Of Dania hereby re-enacts, confirms and approves all Ordi-
nances of the City of Dania providing for the regulation
and licensing of the businesses of plumbers, electricians
and general contractors.
Section 2: That the examining Boards for such
businesses , respectively, shall be and hereby are appointed
as follows ;
a. For Plumbers:
J. P. Schubert
Joseph Le Ban
Victor Plymouth
b. For Electricians :
LaMar Palmer
W. W. Pittman
C. S. Parkhurst
I
c. For General Contractors :
J. L. Crouch
C. C. Lee
Martin Lampman
Section 3; All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
and Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.

Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in force and

take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption .

ORDINANCE NO. 213
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1978-1979 BY CHANGING THE WATER
FUND BUDGET REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR EXPENDITURES
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1978-1979 TO INCREASE SAID WATER FUND
BUDGET ESTIMATED REVENUES AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR EXPEND'I'TURES
FROM THE TOTAL OF $478,339 TO $504,600; AND PROVIDING
THAT ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS AND ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
ARE HEREBY REPEALED TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT: AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the budget of estimated revenues and appropriations for
expenditures for the fiscal year 1978-1979 has been approved by the City
Commission of the City of Dania, Florida; and
WHEREAS, certain changes to said fiscal year budget of estimated
revenues and appropriations for expenditures are now necessary.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the water fund budget for the fiscal year 1978-1979
be and the same is hereby amended, deleted and otherwise changed by
increasing the total estimated revenues and appropriations for expenditures
from the sum of $478,339 to $504,600 as set forth in the detailed schedule
attached hereto and made a part hereof as "EXHIBIT A" .
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all
resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in force and shall take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on First Reading on the 26th day of June
1979.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on Second and Final reading on the loth day
of July,1979.
