ORDINANCE NO. A
AN ORDINA'^'CE REGULA'FIN' THE BUSINESS OF SOLICITING
FOR ANY SOFT OF BUSINESS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS
OF CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA, OUTSIDE OF A STORE OR
BUILDING IN 'b'HICH SAID BUSINESS IS CONLUCTED;
PROVIDING THE LICENSE 'TAX FOR SUCH DISTRIBUTORS
AND FOR EACH AGENT FOR EACH DISTRIBUTOR; AND PRO-
VIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE TERMS
HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINS:;' BY i'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DANIA, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the business of solicitor as encom-
passed within tnis ordinance shall mean the business of soliciting
within the City Limits of City of Dania, Florida, for any sort of
business; such as, going from house to house, and from place to
Place selling or renting clothing, or other wears and merchandise .
The terms and provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to
those people selling agricultural products raised by themselves.
Section 2: The occupational license tax for the busi-
ness of solicitor within the City of Dania hereby is set at the

y , y person, firm, or corporation shall be engaged in such

business.
Section 3: In addition to paying the occupational
license for the conducting of the business of solicitor, each
Person, firm or corporation holding a solicitor 's license within
the City of Dania shall pay an occupational license for each agent
conducting such soliciting within the City of Dania the sum of

Dollars (440.00) for each agent of said business.
Section 4; Any person, firm, or corporation violating
the provisions of this ordinance shall upon conviction before the
Mayor or Municipal Judge be subject to a fine not exceeding One

' Hundred Dollars (�100.00) , or by imprisonment not exceeding
thirty (30) days, or both such fine and imprisonment, within
the discretion of the Municipal Judge .
Section 5: The licenses hereby provided shall be
payable at the same time that other licenses of the City of
Dania are payable; and such licenses shall expire at the same
time as other general licenses of the City of Dania.
Section 6: This ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its passa, e and adoption.
Section Y: All ordinances or resolutions or parts
of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith hereby are re-

pealed to the extent of such conflict.

f INTER-DEPARTMENTAL TRANSFERS OF APPROPRIATIONS
JJ WITHIN THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1978- 1979 ; AND PROVIDING THAT ALL RESOLU-
TIONS OR PARTS OF RESOLUTIONS AND ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED
TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE .

WHEREAS , the 1978-1979 Federal Revenue Sharing Fund Budget of
1 the revenue and expenditures has been approved by the City
Commission , and ,

WHEREAS , it has been determined by the City Commission of
the City of Dania , Florida that certain changes to said appro-
priations and budget are now necessary.

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
i
OF THE CITY OF DANIA , FLORIDA :

Section 1 . That the Federal Revenue Sharing Fund Budget
and appropriations for the year 1978-1979 , are hereby amended ,
deleted changed or appropriated ppropriated as set forth in the detailed
schedule attached hereto and made a part hereof as " EXHIBIT A" .
j Section 2 . That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
conflict. j
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption . j
PASSED AND ADOPTED on First Reading on the 12th day of June 1979
PASSED and ADOPTED on Second and Final Reading on the 26
dayof
June, 1979 .
