BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CIT`_' COUNCIL OF, THE CITY OF
DW\1A, FLORIDA:
Section 1 : That Section 1 of Ordinance No . 149
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Dania,
Florida, be amended to read as follows :
"That any business operatir, ; within the City
limits of the City of Dania, Florida where en-
tertainment is furnished and such business is
located in a building with a seating capacity
of 150 persons or more is hereby defined to be
a night club where such business is operated at
night. That no license for a night club shall
be issued to any person , firm or corporation
unless :
-� a. said building has a minimum floor area of
2500 square feet; and,
b . that said building; permits a minimum of
15 square feet per person of seating capac-
ity."
Section 2 : That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 149
be amended to read as follows :
"That a night club business shall be operated
within the city limits of Dania only in the fol-
lowing areas :
a. North of the Dania Cut-Off Canal;
b. That certain area bounded on the East by the
west right-of-way line of Dixie highway,
also known as Phippen 's Road; and bounded on
the South by the north right-of-wav line of
Southwest 16th Street, also known as Sheridan
Street; and bounded on the hest by the east
right-of-way line of Southwest 8th Street,
also known as 22nd Avenue ; and bounded on the
North by the south right-of-way line of South-
west 7th Terrace .
Section 3 : That in all other respects said Ordi-
nance No . 149 shall remain in full force and effect.

Section 4 : That all ordinances or resolutions or
parts or ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereb.v repealed.
Section 5 : `Phis ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage and adoption.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DANIA, FLORIDA,
J AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 63 (KNOWN AND
REFERRED TO AS THE "SEWER ORDINANCE") PASSED
AND ADOPTED ON MAY 19, 1975 , BY AMENDING
SECTION 24-7 THEREOF TO IMPOSE A PENALTY
FOR DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS; AND PROVIDING
THAT ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
AND ALL RESOLUTIONS OR PARTS OF
RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE REPEALED TO THE
EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DANIA,

Section 1. That City of Dania ordinance number 63
1 (known and referred to as the "sewer ordinance") passed and
finally adopted on May 19, 1975 , be and the same is hereby
i
amended by adding the following paragraph to Section 24-7
{
•. thereof:
" (g) Delinquent Billing and Fenalt
All biils and accounts or sewer service
shall be subject to a penalty if delin-
quent for a period of thirty (30) days
after the initial rendition of a bill
or statement by the City of Dania for
sewer service rendered during a
prev-ious period. The amount of the penalty
shall be ten percent (10%) of the amount
w of the delinquent account for each billing
period or part of a billing period thereof
that the account is delinquent. In the
event the customer is a lessee, the owner,
upon completing a "Request Form" supplied
by the City of Dania, will be notified
of the delinquency. "

Section 2. That except as herein amended all other
provisions of said ordinance number 63 shall remain in full
jforce and effect.
it Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
' of such conflict.

SECTION 4 . That this ordinance shall be in force and
take effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.

day of May 1979 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED on Second Reading this 22nd
day of May 1979 .
